The perfect get-away farm stay, just 50 minutes south of Hobart in the stunning Country of the melukerdee Nation. The property is suited for popping up your tent or caravan on our farm, located right near the Huon River and a stone throw from Cygnet.
We offer a private space for just a yourself or you can some friends to join you and we can accommopdate larger groups.
There are acres to walk along the meandering coast road or the hills of our property, and close encounters with sheep & cattle and no doubt our Tilly dog who loves a visit and pat.
Take in a therapeutic cool morning swim in the river or spend hours combing the rocky shores. Our dusk and night skies in the valley are truly magic, a must for budding astronomers. So, pour a local wine, or ask for us to plate up an artisan platter or Steve’s farmers basket, and seat yourself on a good stump or camp chair and enjoy the picturesque view before you.
This is a perfect base to travel to many hidden gems in the area. There are places to explore in all directions: visit many national parks, waterfalls, beach coasts and rivers the
wineries/ciders/whiskies/arts & makers trails/cafes/restaurants & events.
